吴志伟 博士

个人简介
吴志伟博士,男,1971年9月生,籍贯:江苏镇江,复旦特聘教授、博士生导师,主要研究方向:季风动力学及气候预测。美国夏威夷大学和中国科学院大气物理研究所联合培养气象学专业博士。主持国家自然科学基金重大研究计划之重点项目和面上项目各一项,作为核心骨干参与国家自然科学基金和科技部等国家重大研究计划多项。近年来,在大气科学著名期刊共计发表科研论文70余篇,其中SCI论文50余篇,文章被引总计2000余次,个人H-index: 22。关于东亚夏季风及其短期预测的研究(第一作者)于2009年9月被国际顶级学术期刊Nature评为“研究亮点”,并以“Monsoon Madness”为题推介;2014年10月Nature以“Tibetan Plateau gets wired up for monsoon prediction”为题再次推介青藏高原影响下游地区天气气候的研究成果;2015年9月关于青藏高原热力作用影响欧亚热浪的研究(第一作者)被nature climate change评为“研究亮点”,并以“Heatwave forcings”为题推介;此外,关于东亚夏季风监测的研究成果,被美国国家海洋和大气管理局采用并投入日常监测和预报业务应用。先后获得江苏省科学技术奖一等奖2次,江苏省科技进步二等奖1次。担任Earth-Science ReviewsClimate DynamicsJournal of ClimateScientific Reports等二十五种SCI期刊的审稿人、担任国家自然科学基金及国家公派留学基金的评审专家。

Ⅰ RESEARCH
Ⅰ-1 Areas of Expertise
Meteorological and climate research expertise in monsoons, climate predictability and prediction, atmospheric general circulation, ENSO, interdecadal variability and long-term trends of the climate system, climate changes, and atmosphere-ocean interaction.

Research approaches involve observational analyses, numerical modeling, and theoretical analysis. Research efforts focus on understanding of the fundamental physics governing variations of weather and climate.

Current research focuses on dynamic atmospheric processes with a time scale longer than a week that influence medium- and extended-range, and seasonal predictions.
